Yes I am alive lol but I haven't been blogging as much which I will try to start a bit more often. I know I say that & really do mean it. Ok so their are a couple of videos that I do have up on my channel which are not all crafting but so fun to make because the New York is so fun & beautiful to me.
Speaking of city's & states please let us keep Boston & Texas in our hearts. Please do what you can to help them even if it a blessing/prayer something is better then nothing. My heart hopes out to you all.
So in trying to keep up with something fun I have joined the world of tumbler my user name is little crafter or something along those lines. I've been wanting to join & reach out to more artiest/crafters. I didn't know it was just like writing a blog so that isn't so bad I think lol. So besides the my 9 yr. old being sick & trying to work on a few projects that is about it. So by for now Eileen.

Mirrow tag
OMG this is so cool. I know that I may not be the fist person to come up with this idea but I had a ball making it. The tag base is a Tim Holtz mirror sheet which has a protective film & a sticky back. A tip which I kind of learned the hard way is don't take off the film unless you are ready to place on your project which mean if you are going to run it though a die cutting machine keep it on & it can only be cut with a steel rule die.
I used the Tim Holtz large or #8 tag die. I then glued down some Antiquities paper embellishments which is designed by Donna Salazar. I used a rolled rose spelled binders die & cut the rose out of mix media paper. I then sprayed it Plumeria Pink, South Shore Sand which are Lindsay's stamp gang Flat Fabio's sprays. I also added perfect peal mist in Heirloom Gold & Perfect Pearl which is from Ranger ink.
The other paper flowers are from the Antiquities paper pad which is 12x12 double sided. I just added on the top right flower frayed burlap & a metal button to the center. To the left flower added some worn lip lick & a gem to the center.
The bird is studio 18 chipboard which I sprayed with Plumeria pink & some pearl mist. I then took my distress maker in vintage photo to ink the edges & some detail on the bird. The banner is from the same pack but I added some South shore Sand, Heirloom gold, used worn lip lick distress maker to the edges & some details inside of the banner.
The back is cover with the same paper & the image is from the same line. I just kept simple & flat. So that is my mirror tap hope you liked & when you have a chance give it a shot. Here are some photos & video of the project.

Birthday card
Sorry a bit late with this most but on the March 1st David my wonderful hubby had a birthday, I made him a card. The card is a recollection white card base. 2 different sets of 12x12 recollection single sided paper one is called love letters & the other is called regal street. I also used my spellbinder die named Sprightly sprockets which was designed by Donna Salazar. I used my Tim Holtz distress maker in vintage photo to write out Happy Birthday. So here is the video in case you didn't see it & a photo of the card.
As always thanks for much for stopping by & if you have an question please leave in comments box below or e mail at littlecrafter1974@gmail.com bye for now Eileen.

Gift box
Saturday I was able to go to Michelle's to pick up some paper cause I don't have an purple paper ins my stash so I found K&company Specialty 12x12 paper pack. It is 28 double sided paper , 4 glittered, 4 foiled, 4, glitter thermography & 16 flat. I also got a few charms & Tim Holtz clasp, which I am planning on making some charms later in the week.
I got home & was working on a book but it didn't turn out right & it was late at night. I was so tired so off to bed I went. The next morning was Sunday, the day of the party & thank goodness I had a few hours to get an idea going.
I looked around & I found a box that I knew would make a great gift idea. I cut the paper 5x6 for the top for the sides 1x5 & for the inside I cut paper 4x6. I then cut out some butterflies from a other sheet from the same stack out added a half of a dolly. I added some fog feather trim flowers ,some sticker gems & added her name using stickers to finish Nydia's birthday gift box.

Love day cards
No I am not in my studio but I just had to make a few Valentines day cards. By the way hope you had an awesome, even if you don’t have a special someone. I one year got myself a box of candy & some flowers.
Ok some here are the supplies that I used to make the first card.
- 5x6 card base
- vintage book text which I cut down to 4x5
- corded paper which I cut into a heart then colored red using my distress maker in barn door.
- A used my distress make in barn door for coloring tracing & stash lines on though out this whole card.
- I also made the little banner from the paper line named love letters by Recollections which is 12x12 pad, just cut the art that I needed then cut it again to 3x5 then I cut the triangle to make into a banner.
- The little top hat came from Regent street also by recollections, it was 12x12 sheet & I just cut what I needed.
Next up in Des card. I used as base some mix media paper 4x4 then I used made some stash lined to form a heart then I cut out a heart using the vintage paper. I colored the edge of heart with my barn door distress maker. I then added a Martha Stewart sticker to finish the card.
The finally card was for my line laws, same card base as the first card. I used love letters for the first later cut at 4x5 then Regent street 3x4 both are from Recollection. The banner is mix media paper cut at 2x5 then I cut the triangle shape to make into a banner, looked the edges made some dots & hand written the sentiment on the card using once again my distress maker in barn door. The little photo frame is fro a Recollection stack called the timeless type stack by Dice Cuts With a View or DCWV. I used the 8x8 paper embellishment.
Here is the video.
Thank so much for following a long hope this gives you all some ideas for your next project idea bye for now Eileen

Yes I am still alive
We are kind of put the studio on hold for a bit because David & I here getting ready for Des birthday, which was February 2nd. I still can’t believe he turned 9.
Well the party was almost a no go cause on Friday I step on a plug which felt a whole in my foot & I am still healing so David had to take half a days & take little man to school. I wasn’t having it so the party was on & the birthday boy had an awesome time
So you all know we got hit with a snow storm, we got eight inches here in Brooklyn New york. Hubby was kind of unlucky because while driving slowly on an on ramp coming home he hit some black ice here are some videos one David’s video which show the car covered with snow then mine which is uncovered.
So I am still healing & my father in law is taking Des to school until we can get the car fix. I have been doing a little bit of crafting & hope to share with all what I’ve been up too so that’s what has been going on in a nutshell bye for now Eileen
